In this month of september 2012, two sad events are remembered: the 40th anniversary of the Munich terrorist attack and the 30th anniversary of the Sabra and Shatila massacres. Both, represents the worst and the irrational desire of refuse the agreement, even more irrational when opponents are neighbors with a long history in common. In 1972, the party atmosphere of the olympic games was suddenly broke by a terrorist attack that changed the way many of us see arab people, in 1982 the shameful attack of lebanese phalangist christians against muslins with the connivence of israelites, give a terrible stroke on relations between the arab world and Israel. Two unnecessary reasons to raise hate and intolerance against a false enemy. Yes, because even is hard to admit, israel and arab peoples are not enemies. Only the unbelievable stupidity of political acts made of extremism and revenge have denied the arrival of peace earlier than expected.
Maybe is ask to much, because human nature is not perfect but one day I would like to see israelis forgive the perpetuators of the Munich attack and arabs forgive the people responsible of the Sabra and Shatilla massacres, and both the groups of violators to recognize their fault and the no justification of such absurd.
Now we remember Munich, Sabra and Shatila to show to the world, that the war is enough and all people is tired of see every day victims when peace is the word more demanded on that part of the world.
